Welcome to the Barony of Atenveldt! We are a local branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism (S.C.A.) covering the central Phoenix area. If you are outside this area you may want to visit our sister Baronies. To the west is the Barony of Sundragon and to the east is the Barony of Twin Moons. The Barony is just one group within the Kingdom of Atenveldt.

The SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Our "Known World" consists of 19 kingdoms, with over 30,000 members residing in countries around the world. Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, attend events which feature tournaments, royal courts, feasts, dancing, various classes & workshops, and more.

Barony of Atenveldt Fighter Practice/Populace meet and greet/Arts and Sciences Demos, etc  night

We will be meeting at Monterey Park through the end of May 2013. The address for the park is: 350 E Oak St, Phoenix, AZ 85004 and the Cross Streets are: Between N 3rd St and N 7th St Link to Map to Monterey Park

Starting Wednesday June 5th, Barony of Atenveldt's Wednesday night fighter practices for June through August will be held at Barrios Unidos Park at 15th st & Mohave behind the airport rental car center.  Take your best route to 16th st & Mohave (Mohave's the traffic light on 16th st halfway between Buckeye and I-17.)  Drive one block west on Mohave and take your first left into the Barrios parking lot; we'll be there.  For the long version of why we moved to Monterey park and then Barrios Unidos park click here.
