This officer is responsible for the welcoming and orienting of newcomers to the Society for Creative Anachronism
and/or to our Barony & Kingdom. The Baronial Hospitaler of Atenveldt is not responsible for demonstrations or loaner costumes. These are handled by the Office of the Seneschal and the College of Brymstonne, respectively.

| Minister of Arts and Sciences |

The Office of Minister of Arts and Sciences is responsible for
fostering the study of period culture and technology, and methods for producing historically accurate artifacts and performances. His/her duties include promoting the dissemination of accurate information about the fields under study. It is also the responsibility of the Minister of Arts and Sciences to help organize demonstrations, exhibitions, competitions, classes, workshops or deputies can do this. By all means do not feel you have to take on this job without help. Every local A & S Officer must submit monthly reports summarizing the activities of the local group and local members.Being accessible to the Barony and keeping the populace educated about what is happening both locally and at the Kingdom level is a vital part of the job. Another important part of an A & S Officers duty is communication with artisans so that each gets the help and recognition that is needed.The A & S Officer is responsible for promoting all aspects of the Arts and Sciences including period-inspired creativity, scholarly research or authentic research. Anyone who shows an interest in the arts and sciences should be encouraged thorough competitions, displays, teaching or performing, to name a few.The A & S Officer should also help at Kingdom A & S events and Collegiums whenever possible and actively recruit participants and teachers. | Chancellor of the Youth |

The young are the future of the SCA but without activities to provide them diversions at
events they will have no desire to continue in the SCA. To that end the Barony is seeking a Chancellor of the Youth. The office is responsible for coordinating youth activities and ensuring compliance of the youths and their guardians with Society policies in coordination with the Seneschal staff at events. The job is what you would make of it and benefits from a large selection of deputies. As part of the ongoing improvements in the Society youth activity programs volunteer can expect a background check to be conducted by the SCA. Please contact the Seneschal for specific details of the background check program and what the background check would involve if this causes any concern. If you are interested in the Office as the Chancellor or as a deputy please contact the Seneschal and their Excellencies with a letter of intent detailing your experience and the role you wish to assume. Note: Ad runs until November 1st. |
| Regalia Officer |

The Baronial Regalia Officer shall:

The Regalia Officer is a warranted position with a recommended term of 2 years and reports
to the Baronial Exchequer and the Kingdom Regalia Officer. The Regalia Officer does not need to store the Baronial trailer on his/her property or own a vehicle capable of towing the trailer but must be able to coordinate the storage and transport of the trailer to events as requested by their Excellencies.
